I have a 5'x10' converted cargo trailer, that is approximately 50 sq ft. While it was my home for 13 months. I always thought it was too small but couldn't quite decide on what would be the satisfactory replacement.
My car "died" and it was replaced with a Nissan NV tall boy van to be my new tow vehicle. After a while I switched to living in the van. The interior space is about 9'x6' resulting in 54 sq ft. Having lived in it for a little over 3 months I find it very accommodating, probably because of the nearly 6½ of stand-up height.
Until the van, rationalizing the low height of the trailer by saying we live outside, only sleeping inside made sense. Now I can't imagine ever going back to a non-stand-up rolling home. But that's just me.
