Today I received a new lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery for the house part of the van. It weighs 94 pounds so it is 60% of the weight of my current solar batteries.
And it provides 1.8 times the available electrical energy storage capacity over the FLA batteries that I am currently (you saw what I did there) using.
